Knights of Old Group has put two Penguin-branded SDC urban trailers on the road to celebrate a three-year extension to its contract with publisher Penguin Random House UK, taking their relationship to more than 12 years.
The contract will see it continue to deliver books out of the publisher’s warehouses and has been extended to include delivery from a new site in Rugby.
Knights of Old uses up to 12 tractor/trailer combinations and three rigids at any one time to deliver more than 130 million books for Penguin annually, both direct to the customer or in consolidated loads through Knights of Old’s Kettering base.
