Aspire, the CILT Careers Foundation, has grants available to applicants for a range of professional qualifications offered by the CILT. As company training programmes become more specialised and places on professional development schemes are subject to intense competition, it can be difficult to get the backing from employers to fully support career aspirations.
Aspire has funding available for people who are looking to boost their professional standing or acquire new skills to support a change in career path. Courses available include the Level 2 and 3 Certificates in Logistics and Transport and the Level 5 Diploma. There are opportunities for Level 2 in Customer Services and Marketing, Level 3 in global logistics, port operations, warehousing and green logistics and the Level 3 CPC for Transport Managers.
There are also several IoM courses available, including Level 3 Operations Management, Level 5 in Supply Chain and Inventory Management and the Level 5 Diploma.
Applicants can select accredited training providers of their choice or are free to complete the courses by distance learning. The deadline for applications is 14th August and forms can be accessed via the Aspire website.
