Pallet-Track has recruited former Palletline man Steve Butler as a divisional director. Pallet network Pall-Ex has welcomed its first new member as the result of its pledge to offer support to the hauliers and customers of the failed UK Pallets network.
Palletline has defended itself after residents complained that vibrations from trucks accessing its London hub in Perivale were causing property damage. A local residents group, led by Vinny K-Maddage, has put Ealing Council and Transport for London under pressure to act. After two tough days of judging some superb entries, the shortlist for the 2015 Motor Transport Awards has been announced. DPD once again leads the pack, being shortlisted for four awards, while Cemex is up for two.
