Wincanton is to reach its 20 year milestone with H J Heinz, having renewed its long-standing contract with the food giant until at least 2019.

Under the contract, Wincanton is responsible for the transportation, warehousing and repackaging of Heinz products, including its baked beans and sauces.

The group handles around 35,000 loads a year, working from Heinz’s DC in Wigan, and oversees about 72,000 orders a year from Heinz Ireland.
