NR Evans has expanded its fleet with 15 new Schmitz Cargobull refrigerated trailers.
The new trailers join the temperature-controlled operator’s 202-strong fleet - of which 98 are Scmitz Cargobull vehicles - and will be used to transport packaged milk between DCs across the country as NR Evans seeks to expand its business.
Rob James, regional fleet manager at Carmarthenshire-based NR Evans, said: “We are very pleased with our purchase. We received our trailers exactly when promised and we’re excited to put them to work so they can help expand our operations further.”
NR Evans delivers more than £500m of chilled products annually. The firm has seven operating centres across the UK and provides logistical support for brands such as Dairy Crest and Dawn Meats.
