Malcolm Johnstone, MD at ACS&T, has been appointed president of the Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF).
It is his second term as president of the FSDF- the sole UK trade body that represents and supports the interests of the entire food and drink logistics industry.
Johnstone, also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, said: “It is a great privilege and an honour to become president of the UK’s leading food logistics industry bodies. The federation is made up of many interesting and differing companies who operate in this wide and complex market of temperature-controlled food logistics.”
Chris Sturman, chief executive of FSDF, added: “We’re pleased to welcome back such an experienced professional as Malcolm to the role of president. He is well known in the industry for his huge passion and drive, and his commitment to setting high standards of excellence in food storage and distribution.”
ACS&T is a member of the FSDF.
