Europa-Worldwide-Truck

Europa Road has launched a direct service to and from the UK to Stuttgart five times per week.

The operator, part of the Europa Worldwide Group, developed the new route following the rapid growth of its route to Frankfurt launched last summer, which it said has expanded quickly due to the strength of the German market.  The company also operates a long-established Dusseldorf route.

Europa’s Stuttgart route will be operated alongside existing Swiss partner Panalpina.   The route will be serviced with double-manned trucks operating to and from Erith and Birmingham.

Dan Cook, operations director, Europa Road, said: “We identified Stuttgart as a key growth area within Germany. The Stuttgart region ranks among the most important economic locations attracting international companies as well as being Germany´s leading export region.

“This is the first of a number of new and improved road services Europa will develop throughout the year. We see there is a massive opportunity to become a leading operator on the German market, with huge potential for further expansion.”

Europa Worldwide recently unveiled its new branding and fleet livery, featuring Greek mythology's Princess Europa.
