Carlsberg UK has rolled out its new ‘hop leaf’ livery on 98 Daf trucks that have just entered operation. The £11.7m order consists of 15-tonne and 18-tonne LFs, 26-tonne CF rigids and CF tractor units. They are the first Dafs on the brewer’s in-house fleet in a decade and will make multi-drop deliveries of beer and associated items such as gas cylinders. DBC Foodservice had no vehicle assets despite having 230 of them when it went under in March, as its fleet was run on a contract-hire basis.
