Bibby Distribution has secured a contract renewal with manufacturer Braiform for the delivery and collection of garment hangers.

The contract, which Bibby has operated since 2005, sees the logistics firm deploy stand trailers to Braiform’s clients’ RDCs, which then transport hangers to major retailers such as Matalan, Peacocks and Debenhams.

Hangers are also picked up from strategically located collection points for return to Braiform’s Sheffield hub for re-use or recycling.

Bibby provides Braiform with day-one for day-three collection and delivery throughout the year.

Ray Allsebrook, general manager at Braiform, said: “We regularly benchmark our suppliers and we have repeatedly found that Bibby Distribution offers us flexibility and the ability to manage volume, at a competitive cost that simply cannot be matched by even the very biggest logistics providers.”
