Royal Mail is to open 10 temporary parcel sorting sites between now and Christmas to sort a significant amount of its peak volumes. The sites will be opened on a phased basis from today (3 November) and will be located in: West Lothian, Leeds, Middleton in Greater Manchester, Wolverhampton, Llantrisant in South Wales, Swindon, Greenford in west London, Peterborough and Milton Keynes. Parcel carrier APC Overnight has revealed that all of its LGV drivers have completed the Driver CPC. Its drivers have all completed the compulsory 35 hours of training two years ahead of the September 2014 deadline.
