Forward Trucking Services (FTS) has added two new trucks and three new trailers to its fleet.
The two MAN 18-tonne Euro-6 vehicles increases the company’s truck fleet to 54. It has also added a Lawrence David and two Montracon trailers to boost its trailer fleet to 29.
The company has just relocated to new premises located between Radlett and St Albans in Hertfordshire, which offers a 5,500m² yard and 1,300m² of office and warehouse space. It was previously based at a location in St Albans.
Barry Simmonds, principal of FTS, said: “These are exciting times for our business, following significant investment over the past six months. The location of our new premises keeps us in touch with our roots here in St Albans, whilst also providing a foundation for expansion of our business.”
FTS runs in the Palletways pallet network.
