Ryder Europe has completed the purchase of trailer repair and maintenance company Bullwell Trailer Solutions.
Bullwell provides nationwide mobile trailer repair and maintenance services from a central location in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
It will continue to operate as it has been prior to the deal, complementing Ryder’s own trailer service.
David Hunt, vice-president and MD of Ryder Europe, said: “Ryder is constantly looking at how it can strengthen the business to better serve customers.
“We presently operate one of the largest trailer rental and contract hire fleets in the UK. The acquisition of Bullwell fits perfectly with our ongoing investment and growth strategy.”
Gary Bulley, MD at Bullwell, said the deal would give it access to a much larger customer base. “This is an excellent opportunity for the business.”
