Spatial Global has won an e-fulfilment contract with Practical Publishing International, covering warehousing, imports management and international distribution.

The new contract will see the operator manage imports of goods from China, including the free gifts supplied with its craft magazines. It will also take delivery of books and magazines from printers across the UK and store them at its Castle Donington warehouse.

It will also provide value-added services, including mounting merchandise to magazine covers and fulfilling orders directly from the publisher’s websites. Deliveries of bulk orders to exhibitions will also be covered under the contract.

Bryan Hindle, Spatial Global MD, said: “Prior to this the business managed these activities itself, but growth necessitated that it find an experienced logistics partner to provide outsourced support.  We are delighted that it selected Spatial for this activity.”

The firm won a contract extension from publisher Gruppo Media last month.
