The Motor Transport Awards 2014 was a roaring success, not only with 1,600 people turning up to the Grosvenor House hotel on Park Lane on Wednesday 2 July, but for the winners of 20 awards in 19 categories.
Both Abbey Logistics and DPD were big winners on the night, with the former picking up its second Haulier of the Year Award (after it won the big prize in 2010) and the inaugural Business Excellence Award, while the latter won the honours in the Customer Care and Best Use of Technology categories.
