Pallet network Palletline has confirmed that MD Kevin Buchanan is currently on leave from the business that he has led since 2007.
Palletline, which launched the Plus Logistics identity in April, is understood to have informed network members at the start of the month of the situation.
In a statement to Motortransport.co.uk the network said: "Kevin Buchanan, managing director of Palletline Plc is currently on compassionate leave until further notice.
“The senior management team will assume responsibility for directing the business in his absence. There will be no changes to network o
perations during this time.
“No further details will be released at this time.”
Buchanan joined Palletline as general manager of commercial development at the network in January 2007, before succeeding Glyn Jones later that year as MD.
