Princess Anne, patron of charity Transaid, will be attending this year’s Multimodal to participate in a discussion organised by the FTA.

The panel discussion will focus on the charity’s work in developing countries and how businesses can encourage staff to take up volunteer work and fundraising activities to build strong teams.

Participating in the panel discussion alongside The Princess Royal are: FTA chief executive Theo de Pencier, Transaid chief executive Gary Forster,  Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation strategic adviser Maeve Magner and Norbert Dentressangle HR and HSE director Mark Simmonds .

The panel discussion will take place on Wednesday 30 April at the Birmingham NEC . The FTA will be at Multimodal on stand 525 between 29 April and 1 May.

Among those also attending Multimodal this year are Potter Logistics, Mini Clipper Logistics, Elddis Transport and AV Dawson.
