Commercial vehicle contract hire and fleet management specialist Prohire has appointed David Barlow as its new group commercial director.
Barlow has previously worked for as Hill Hire, Transamerica Leasing and Trailerent in a career spanning more than three decades. He will be responsible for Prohire’s new vehicle procurement and all aspects of the company’s supply chain management through to contract implementation.
To avoid confusion with Prohire’s chairman and CEO – who is also called David Barlow – David will be known as Dave!
Prohire chairman and CEO Barlow said: “We are delighted that Dave has decided to join us. As a member of the board he will contribute to the future growth strategy of our business and help to build on the significant successes we have already achieved.”
Prohire is one of the UK’s fastest-growing CV fleet management specialists. In the last four years the company’s fleet of trucks and vans has more than doubled in size and now stands at over 3,000 vehicles.
