Global Freight Solutions (GFS) has won a home delivery contract with leisure retailer Skate Hut.

The contract will cover economy, premium, international, and parcel shop deliveries by a range of parcel delivery firms, using GFS’s carrier management system.

The Halesowen, West Midlands-based company chose GFS as it believes customers have different delivery preferences in different regions.

Skate Hut has also introduced GFS-liveried trailers into its fleet, which will be used to take parcels to selected carrier hubs.

GFS has won a number of new contracts in 2013, including a click and collect contract with Musto, and a home delivery contract with Liverpool Football Club.
