Norbert Dentressangle has won a contract renewal from helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland.

The contract covers daily UK transport of helicopter parts to the aviation and military sectors from its base in Yeovil, Somerset, for next day-delivery of a wide range of parts.

ND has held the contract since 2001 and makes approximately 19,000 shipments a year.

A dedicated Norbert Dentressangle Specialist Services team is based at the Yeovil site, as well in Helston, Cornwall, where customer the Royal Navy is based.

The contract also covers same-day delivery for helicopter breakdown repairs for the Italian-owned firm.

AgustaWestland said the relationship it has built up with ND has allowed it to “cost effectively manage volume spikes and support special requests”.
