Clipper Logistics has won a new contract with specialist online retailer Loveknitting.com that will see it store and manage the distribution of a wide range of yarns, patterns, needles and other knitting accessories.

The contract, which Clipper has already begun working on, is being handled at its Worsley, Manchester site, where it will initially account for around 5,000ft², a spokesman for the logistics firm told Motortransport.co.uk.

Loveknitting.com CEO Edward Griffith said signing the deal with Clipper meant the firm “can continue to deliver excellent customer service whilst growing the business”.

Clipper declined to specify the volume of goods involved, or the value and duration of the contract.
