The industry has welcomed the chancellor’s decision to cancel the planned September fuel duty rise, but says more still needs to be done to get the economy on the road to recovery.
Insurance costs could climb next year although fuel duty will remain frozen, it was confirmed in this afternoon’s Autumn Statement.
Fuel duty is set to be increased next year and will climb each year after that in line with inflation.
