Online clothing, footwear and lifestyle accessory supplier Surfdome has appointed Norbert Dentressangle to manage its e-fulfilment operation.

ND, which took over the management of Surfdome’s Wembley warehouse in late 2012, has since transferred the operation to a new 112,000ft² facility in Wellingborough, handling over 900 lifestyle, fashion, outdoor and sports brands.

The contract includes goods receipt, order picking, marshalling, packing and despatch management and involves the handling of up to 6,000 orders and 10,000 items a day across over 100,000 product lines.

  •  ND has also recently secured a three-year extension to its contract with the Co-operative Group to handle tray washing operations , following an initial 12 month agreement. The 3PL will clean around 36 million plastic trays a year for the retailer at a number of UK tray washing sites in a collaborative arrangement with other ND customers for whom it carries out similar work, who include both Tesco and Asda.
