DSV Road has launched an online Quote & Book system to provide an instant response to customers seeking a spot price for export, import and domestic road shipments.
The new booking system asks customers to complete a short registration form and details of the job. “The whole process can take as little as two or three minutes,” said Chris Malyon, director sales & marketing, DSV Road.
Repeat booking details are also available, which DSV said speeds up the process and cuts the potential for error.
In the event that the requested quote falls outside DSV’s ability to offer an instant automatic price, for instance for hazardous cargo or part loads, DSV will aim to provide a manual quote to the customer within 30 minutes during working hours.
DSV Quote & Book is smartphone and tablet compatible.
