CitySprint has acquired Brighton-based same-day firm, Bullit Couriers, improving its access to the area.
The company and its staff transferred over to CitySprint, which has so far acquired four other same-day couriers in 2013, on 30 September. A spokeswoman was unable to confirm the size of Bullit’s business.
CitySprint chief executive Patrick Gallagher said: “We’re excited to be incorporating this fantastic local business into our team, and to be strengthening our presence in the Brighton area. We look forward to welcoming Bullit’s customers to CitySprint’s extensive national network and will be working closely with Bullit to ensure a smooth transition of services.”
Last week, analysts said Rico Logistics’ acquisition of DHL Express’s same-day domestic business would create a courier firm rivalling CitySprint.
