Isuzu-DSL-0713

Wakefield-based Deborah Services (DSL) has taken delivery of 13 new 7.5 tonne trucks from Isuzu Truck.

DSL, which provides of a range of services including scaffolding and access, insulation, protective coatings, passive fire protection and temporary roofing systems, will use the replacement trucks in its hire and sales, and contract scaffolding operations.

The Isuzu Forward N75.190 4x2 rigids are all fitted with the Easyshift automated transmission and various sizes of flatbed body from Bespoke Bodies and Plant Equipment.

All have been supplied with a detachable edge protection system designed to prevent drivers from falling off the loadbed.

Three of the trucks feature front-mounted Atlas cranes on 18ft long bodies; the rest have either 21ft or 24ft bodies. All have a rear ladder for access to the truck bed and single-step side access at the front of the body, as well as series of sockets on the loadbed to accommodate DSL’s scaffolding restraint system.

The trucks were all supplied by Warrington Vehicle Centre.

DSL transport manager Gary Clark said: “The reason we chose Isuzu again is because of the excellent dealer service we receive along with economical fuel consumption and best-in-class payload,” he said.
