Household furniture and appliances delivery firm Panther Warehousing has launched a Saturday delivery service as it attempts to meet consumers’ demands.
The operator, which recently expanded its services to include delivery of 'light and large' goods, is now able to offer next day delivery of goods six days a week, provided they are ordered online up until 6.30pm.
MD Colin McCarthy said: “As we lead increasingly busy lives it becomes more frustrating having to call a halt to our work priorities as we sit at home waiting for deliveries. We recognise that our customers want a service that will bring minimum disruption to their own customers’ working lives.”
Earlier this year Panther opened two new sites in Peterlee in County Durham and Taunton in Somerset after winning over £35m in new business over the last 12 months.
