Palletways member Kay Transport has acquired the business of Truro-based South West Delivery Services, which was headed by MD Mark Adams. Simon Lowes of Ashtons JWD was appointed liquidator of the firm, which is also a Palletways member, last week (7 June) at a meeting of creditors. “The majority of the [South West] workforce has been re-employed,” Lowes told Motortransport.co.uk.
