Norbert Dentressangle has secured a new distribution contract with Cornish brewer St Austell Brewery.

The contract involves ND providing warehouse space at an existing site in Avonmouth, where a cross-dock facility will support the distribution of products to customers throughout the UK.

ND will be trunking products on behalf of St Austell Brewery from Cornwall to the Avonmouth site, from which the brewery’s own regional delivery vehicles will provide onward distribution to clients in the area.

Product for national distribution will be moved from Avonmouth into other depots and networks in the Midlands and London areas for delivery by ND’s other operations, including for Carslberg.

Kevin Andrews, logistics manager at St Austell Brewery, said the contract was “of great strategic importance” and would provide “a strong platform from which to extend” for the brewer.
