Ivybridge, Devon-based Kay Transport has bought King Stag (Transport). The deal, completed on the 12 April, sees the Pallet Track member, which is based in Stalbridge, Dorset, snapped up by the West Country haulier, which is a Palletways member. A 55% rise in turnover at Norbert Dentressangle’s UK group company Norbert Dentressangle Logistics was achieved last year as a result of cost reductions, new business and the first full year’s effect of the acquisition of TDG in October 2011.
