Canute Group has won a nationwide distribution contract with envelope supplier Bong UK.The contract, which began in October, is run from the firm’s national DC in Milton Keynes and covers distribution to customers across Britain and Ireland.

Canute will move consolidated palletised loads of envelope brands such as Plus Fabric, Tyvek and New Guardian for the Swedish-owned company.

National sales manager Phil Arnold said: “Working with Bong UK means we are able to extend our competence in the stationery market sector, which will allow us to bring existing transferable controls, measures and disciplines to the partnership.”

Canute already works with two of Bong’s customers and the new contract allows Bong to reduce its carbon footprint further.
