Total Sweet contract win for Culina

Culina Logistics has won a national distribution contract with natural sugar alternative firm Total Sweet.

The contract, which began in September, will be operated out of Culina’s warehouse in Leighton Buzzard and will see it deliver pallets to retailers such as Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Holland & Barrett, using its shared user network across ten sites.

Total Sweet selected Culina as it was able to offer the firm greater flexibility in case picking costs than its previous logistics provider.

Total Sweet MD Daniel Reeds said: “From the start Culina was able to pick up on details that have already made the service more efficient. For example, they spotted a product coding error which had been missed by the previous service provider and this was then put right. This is the sort of attention to detail we hugely value in our company.”
