Palletforce has partnered with Italian pallet network One Express, launching a direct service to Italy for its members.
The partnership began on 1 November and will allow Palletforce to offer its members day definite delivery and daily departures to Italy.
Bologna-based One Express, which has 70 depots over Italy, is the first European network that Palletforce has collaborated with and members will be able to access the new service through its existing Alliance IT system.
Palletforce chief executive Michael Conroy said: “This new partnership follows the blueprint for our European strategy for aligning ourselves to country leading pallet networks to create a significant footprint.”
"We specifically selected One Express as our Italian partners as they share the same values and operate in a similar way to Palletforce, offering a quality and value service for all, and we are excited at this new direction we are heading in together."
Palletforce's european development director John McKail was appointed earlier this year to oversee its European expansion.
