DSV Group has won a contract to handle distribution in the UK and Ireland for Chinese energy firm GoodWe Solar Inverter.

DSV will handle all stages of the company’s distribution in the UK, with its air & sea freight division handling delivery from China, its warehousing division providing storage and its road division delivering goods across the UK and Ireland.

Jiang Deming, director of marketing and sales at GoodWe, says: “With the advance in European markets, the contradiction between the increasing demand of our customers and the lagging logistic system is becoming more and more obvious. What should we do next is to learn from the experience in British market and use it in other markets of European continent.”

The contract will see GoodWe’s customers in the UK and Ireland receiving order within five days of placing it.
