Hermes has revealed record results at its UK division, with revenue up 22% in 2011. The parcels company says this reinforces its position as the country’s second-largest home-delivery business. Revenue stood at €303m during 2011, up from €248m in the previous year. Hermes has taken on a 47,000ft² depot near Liverpool, as part of its ongoing investment in its network and capacity.
Hermes has revealed that its ParcelShops have handled more than 870,000 parcels since the concept was introduced in June.
