Hellmann UK has launched a freight partnership with a Portuguese logistics company that increases the number of round trip road freight services to the country each week.
The partnership with Rangel Express and Logistics enables Hellmann to undertake three direct level departures to Oporto and Lisbon and the company says it also strengthens its European network.
“We are always looking for ways to improve, strengthen and widen the scope of our service,” says Hellmann UK commercial director Matthew Marriott. “Finding the right partners is absolutely crucial to this endeavor and we believe that working with Rangel Express and Logistics is a really positive move for both companies.”
The freight partnership announcement comes a fortnight after Hellmann said it had won a contract with broadband satellite network provider Hughes Europe.
The deal involves air, sea and road freight logistics, managing sea containers from the USA and warehouse activities in Europe.
“Not only will this contract further consolidate the reputation of Hellmann UK across the Atlantic, it will also help Hughes expand its presence across Europe,” Marriott adds.
